The actors are good but they cannot overcome by themselves the weaknesses of the script. Geralt and Princess Ciri (who is at this stage unborn) have a special connection, but Geralt leaves Cintra despite being warned not to play with destiny. The Witcher season 1 ends with Yennefers fate unknown, Nilfgaards army (temporarily) defeated, and Geralt of Rivia finally united with his Child of Surprise, Ciri. The plot is very messy and the timelines are scrambled.
